Illustrations

The deadline for my thirteen main illustrations is approaching.  The concept drawings were provided to the publisher quite a while ago but the finished full color art is due by "late April".  The publisher and my editor have both assured me that their deadline is not written in stone.  It is merely there as a guideline and measuring tool.  The publisher assured me that they prefer a good book to a fast book.  So I will continue to burn the stay-up-till-2:00 a.m.-every-night oil until I can finish all the illustrations satisfactorily!  I will keep you posted!
