Yesterday I finished all of the illustrations for my book! I can't believe it! My wife and I have scanned all the illustrations and sent them to the publisher today. I still have to send the originals next week. But for now the editor has all she needs to do the design proof that she will be sending to me soon. I am involved in the decision making about the layout of the book. But I want to leave the heavy lifting to the professionals at Brandylane!
It looks like the publication of my book has been moved back until late Fall. Hopefully that will give me time to plan my first author's night in Lincolnshire, Illinois and to put some new material on this website. I have about one hundred letters from third graders that have amazing artwork on them. I want to share as many of them with you as I can!
