Today a different clerk informed me (after my sister Audrey tipped me off!) that if I sent my books at "media" rates, it would cost significantly less. And especially for multiple copies going to the same address. (A single copy only cost about $3.80 to mail.) But I have to supply the packaging. I don't know how much a single envelope will cost. Or how much something big enough to mail more than one book will cost. AAAARRRGHH! I will have to get back to you all (again!).
Today I went to the Post Office and discovered that I had not asked the correct questions to a previous clerk about how much it would cost to mail my book. That clerk told me that it would cost $5.80 per book to mail in the Post Office's Priority Mail envelope. I thought that was the cheapest rate I could get.
